James Blasingame, the Chair of our 2007 ALAN Election Committee, has
announced the following ALAN 2007 election results:

President Elect:

Board of Directors:

Congratulations to all who have been elected and welcome to the Board.
All who ran are greatly appreciated–the election was very close! This
attests to the excellent work of the committee, as they nominated a
highly qualified and impressive slate of candidates. A special thanks
goes to James Blasingame for chairing the committee, and to its members,
John Noelle Moore, Catherine Balkin, Mary Arnold, and Wendy Glenn.

Terms for new Board members will begin at the close of the 2007 ALAN
Board meeting. The term for the President-Elect will begin at the close of
the 2007 ALAN Workshop, with the term of President beginning at the close of the 2008 workshop in San Antonio.
