Mary Arnold, Chair of the 2008 ALAN Election Committee, has announced
the following ALAN 2008 election results:
President Elect:
James Blasingame

Board of Directors:
Angela Beumer Johnson
Shannon Collins
Walter Mayes

Contgratulations to all those elected and welcome to the Board.  New
officers will be installed at the ALAN Breakfast in San Antonio.  For
all those on the ballot, we appreciate your support of our
organization!  The committee nominated a well qualified and
professionally committed slate of candidates.  Special thanks to Mary
for chairing the committee and to members Teri Lesesne, Jean Boreen
and Amy Maupin.

Terms for new Board members will begin at the close of the 2008 ALAN
Board meeting.  The term for President-Elect will begin at the close
of the 2008 ALAN Workshop, with the term of President beginning at the
close of the 2009 workshop.
