YA Literature: Supports & Obstacles
Funded by NCTE’s ALAN Foundation Research Grant, Dr. Kelly Byrne Bull of the College of Notre Dame of Maryland is conducting a national survey of English Language Arts teachers regarding the supports and obstacles they experience when adding young adult literature into their classrooms.
This online survey takes no longer than 30 minutes to complete and will add to our understandings of what ideas, strategies, and/or policies have helped or hindered teachers as they work to incorporate YA literature into their teaching.
Please participate by clicking the link below (and do feel free to forward this onto your colleagues, too): http://www.surveymonkey.com/alangrant-yaliterature
Each teacher who completes the survey will be entered into a drawing for one of four $25 gift cards to Borders Bookstore. The results of this nationwide survey will be written and submitted to The ALAN Review.
Should you have any questions, please contact Kelly Byrne Bull at kbull [at] ndm [dot] edu.
