Are you interested in doing some research in YA literature?  Could you use some funding?  Consider applying for the ALAN Foundation Grant.  The form is attached here.  While the deadline is still a long way out,  I know how time slips away.  So, take some time this weekend perhaps to draft a proposal and complete the simple form.  AlanFoundationApplicant.doc

Maybe links to the various ALAN grants can be added to the header for easy access?

Info for first time panelists, please?

Hi! I'm thrilled that my proposal has been accepted. YAY! But I need to know if presenters are expected to register/pay for the ALAN activities. Outside of our own travel & hotel, what other expenses would a panel of authors be expected to "foot"? I'm just curious as to if I need to register/pay for the conference when I will only be there as a panelist, not as an attendee. Thanks!Beth FehlbaumSee More
